The 2022 event will be very similar to the look at feel of 2019, which was the last year our full-scale event was held prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. What has changed with this event since it was last hosted in 2019? The 400 wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Armed Forces FieldĪny active duty or veteran member of the military may present their Uniformed Services ID Card at the Armed Forces Field (Field 4) entrance to receive up to 10 free wristbands for ballfield access. No refunds or replacements for lost/damaged wristbands, or if severe weather causes event delay or cancellation. No refunds will be given for not picking up the wristbands. You will not be able to pick up onsite on event day. Wristband/Packet Pickup Dates: Thursday, June 30 and Friday, July 1, from 3 p.m. You will not be able to pick up wristbands after 7 p.m.
The All American Pass, an optional event upgrade, returns for 2022 and includes seating on the ballfields, exclusive access to inflatables, dedicated portable restrooms and other bonus entertainment. Please note, the optimal viewing experience will be from Salisbury Park at the event. Drones will fly 400 feet into the air above Salisbury Park and be visible from up to two miles away, depending on vantage point. and feature multiple designs and choreographed movements from a fleet of drones set to patriotic music. The 12-minute aerial display will start at 9:30 p.m. In lieu of fireworks, this year’s celebration will conclude with a new and innovative 150-drone light show. Parking is first-come, first-served and is expected to fill to capacity.
While this is a free event to attend, there is an onsite parking fee of $10/vehicle that will be collected at park entry, cash only.
Low-cost activities include a tot train, face painting, bungee jumping and light-up toy vendor, plus a variety of food vendors. Free event activities include a concert of 80s hits from 6 Million Dollar Band, walk-around entertainers and a carnival. Salisbury Park grounds will be open to attendees with the central multi-purpose field featuring the music stage. Save the date for Monday, July 4, pack your blankets and lawn chairs, and set up for an evening packed with family fun.
